Idaho decides
Decisions about drugs in Idaho should be made by Idahoans, in the open, through the people we elect — not by out-of-state money.

A law can be undone in a single session. The constitution holds. HJR 4 settles the question for good.
Vote YES on HJR 4.
HJR 4 is a one-sentence amendment to the Idaho Constitution. It keeps the decision to legalize marijuana and other drugs with the Legislature you elect — so an out-of-state checkbook can’t buy its way onto the ballot and rewrite Idaho’s drug laws.
- Nothing new is banned. Marijuana and hard drugs are already illegal in Idaho. HJR 4 decides who can change that.
- Idahoans decide. Through legislators you elect and can vote out, in public hearings anyone can attend.
- Idaho already does this with alcohol. The same section of the constitution has covered intoxicating liquors since 1934.
The amendment, word for wordOnly the Idaho Legislature shall have power and authority to legalize the growing, producing, manufacturing, transporting, selling, delivering, dispensing, administering, prescribing, distributing, possessing, or using of marijuana, narcotics, or other psychoactive substances.
